Before we begin the demolition, we always introduce ourselves to all surrounding neighbours to inform them of our methods, time frames and to answer any questions they may have. An office building approximately takes 5-7 days to clear. Our goal is to complete each project efficiently and with minimal disruption to surrounding all neighbours. An excavator is used to remove the concrete slab and footings and scour the ground for any concealed obstructions and loose materials. The ground is then ‘track rolled’ leaving the site clear and complete.
Our demolition experts start working from the roof down. First we hand strip the salvage materials and we are dedicated to practising sustainable methods, so we aim to recycle a minimum of 80% of all materials. We generate green waste for mulching, concrete for crushing and metal and glass is recycled. Any leftover material is taken to the general landfill. Don’t worry about the mess, we dispose of that too! After the demolition our team completes a thorough site check to ensure that all debris has been removed and safely disposed of.
